Evercred / Who we serve / Management services organizations
OrganizationsManagement services organizations
A management services organization runs operations for medical practices. Credentialing is often one of those operations.
What an MSO is
An MSO, or another practice operator, employs the team that collects credentials, tracks expirations, and prepares packets for the practices it manages.
How Evercred serves MSOs
Evercred keeps credentials up to date continuously. It uses a combination of APIs, open data agents, browser agents, and its agent orchestration tool. It keeps an audit trail. When an agent runs a verification, Evercred records video of what the agent is doing and keeps that video for regulatory compliance. This is true for every state.
Every plan also includes manual primary-source verification on every credential.
If you are an IPA or MSO, your group may hold the carrier contract under its own legal name and TIN, while each member practice enrols its providers under that practice's TIN, because the practice is the legal party on the application. Evercred is building that two-level structure now. Today the product holds one tax ID per organisation.
Today Evercred covers physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants. Other clinical roles are rolling out.
