An ambulatory surgery center is a facility for surgery that does not require a hospital admission.
What an ASC is
ASCs credential the physicians who operate and the other clinicians the center allows to practice there. Many of those clinicians are physicians.
How Evercred serves an ASC
Evercred verifies state medical licenses, DEA registrations, NPI numbers, and board certification for physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants.
Evercred keeps credentials up to date continuously. It uses a combination of APIs, open data agents, browser agents, and its agent orchestration tool. It keeps an audit trail. When an agent runs a verification, Evercred records video of what the agent is doing and keeps that video for regulatory compliance. This is true for every state.
Every plan also includes manual primary-source verification on every credential.
Today Evercred covers physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants. Other clinical roles are rolling out.
Evercred does not run the center's privileging committee.
